Welcome to Glenelg & Arnisdale Development Trust

This is the introduction explaining how the website is navigated e.g. where to find information about cycling and walking or fishing. History and heritage is a big part of the area and not easily found using the menu structure so a link HERE would go a long way to quick-finding the page.

Latest News ...

On Saturday we had the a very good scanning session at the Glenelg Hall. Many people dropped in with old photos and the accompnaying narrative. They were all scanned 'on the spot' so that families could take their precious images back home with them and not have to leave them at the hall.

We hope to have them all on the website in due course and at the moment are processing the raw images so they look their best on the screen. we also received a few stories in text form, all of which are really interesting and they too will appear in their village sections of the website.

If you have any old photos or modern ones with interesting content please contact the hall and we will archive them along with the relavent information; so they are not lost, but preserved for future generations of local folk from Glenelg and Arnisdale.
