A beautiful little hall set in a stunning location..
The Ceilidh House is situated between Arnisdale and Corran, 9 miles from Glenelg. It’s a great place to start your exploration of these villages and a welcome comfort break at the end of the road!
Our Heritage on display
A comprehensive account of our local culture, the people and the place stand proud on the walls of this spectacular hall for visitors to read and absorb. The display guides those interested through the history of the people and the place, those who have lived and breathed Arnisdale and Corran, throughout hundreds of years and the impact that these sometimes difficult times had on our ancestors – the clearances, landownership, employment right up to describe Arnisdale and Corran as they are today.
(Author of the Heritage Display, Andrew Fraser pays tribute to Ian MacKenzie, Corran)
The display is open from 9am – 6pm every day unless the hall has been hired for a private function.

If you visit our display, we kindly ask that you make a donation towards it’s upkeep in recognition that this is a voluntary organisation run and managed by our Community, through many hours of Community effort. We are a tiny community and this is no mean feat!

We had our First Wedding on Saturday 22nd October at The Ceilidh House when Katie Galbraith (daughter of Iain MacGillivray, whose formative years were spent in Arnisdale) and her groom, Kevin O’Connor officially “tied the knot”. Katie works in Campbeltown and Kevin pours the best drams in the Glen at The Glenelg Inn!
