Glenelg & Arnisdale - Hill Walking and Rambling

Hidden away in the north west corner of the Scottish Highlands is one of the best walking areas anywhere! Loch Hourn, the paths at the top of Mam Ratagan and the remote corners of Corran.

SAFETY!
Please remember though ... remote and unspoiled means REMOTE and the unprepared can find themselves in trouble very quickly if the weather closes in or if you simply get lost. So tell someone where you are going and when you intend to be back. Usually, if you have lodgings in the area, the family or owners will be able to help you plan the best and most interesting routes.

There is a useful page about Walking In Lochalsh outlining the essentials and what to take with you when venturing into the hills
